The APR direct intake system is now available for the 2.0T EA888.3/3B engine found in the Volkswagen Polo GTI MK6 (Typ AW) and the Audi A1 MK2 (Typ GB)! It is also compatible with other 1.8T / 2.0T EA888.3 / 3B / 4 / 4B engines fitted on the MQB, MQB EVO and MQB Ax platforms, making it a high-performing, cost-effective solution for many configurations. This open intake system adopts a straight design, with a minimum of bends, to maximise airflow and reduce pressure losses. The high-performance pleated cotton filter, washable and reusable, offers 22% more flow than stock, a lower pressure drop at every vacuum level, a 20% larger filtering surface and filtration efficiency proven on other APR systems — for lasting performance for life.

Intake kits are approved and tested on vehicles in their original configuration. Whether an intake kit can be combined with a sports exhaust, a sports catalytic converter or an engine remap depends on the interpretation of the cantonal vehicle licensing office during the vehicle inspection. Some cantons accept these combinations, while others refuse them without additional expert reports (e.g. DTC). In the absence of a uniform national practice, we can neither guarantee nor ensure a successful inspection when combined with other modifications to the vehicle. We therefore recommend that you check the conformity of your configuration directly with your canton's vehicle licensing office before placing any order. For certain vehicles, however, we offer combinations of products tested and approved together (for example: intake kit + exhaust + sports catalytic converter + engine remap).
