Intake kits are approved and tested on vehicles in their original configuration. Whether an intake kit can be combined with a sports exhaust, a sports catalytic converter or an engine remap depends on the interpretation of the cantonal vehicle licensing office during the vehicle inspection. Some cantons accept these combinations, while others refuse them without additional expert reports (e.g. DTC). In the absence of a uniform national practice, we can neither guarantee nor ensure a successful inspection when combined with other modifications to the vehicle.
