Many renowned car and engine manufacturers rely on the expertise of MAHLE Original and Knecht for air filters, and rightly so: only well-filtered air guarantees engine efficiency and torque, as well as reduced consumption and emissions. What's more, our filters are made of cellulose (paper) and synthetic nonwoven or a blend of both. They absorb up to 99.98% of harmful particles of dust, soot and tyre abrasion. The finest filters thus retain almost all particles larger than 3 µm. MAHLE air filters therefore prevent premature wear of valves, cylinder running surfaces, piston rings, plain bearings and other engine components. But beware: the proper functioning of filters depends on observing the replacement intervals prescribed by car manufacturers.
